For over 140 years, Trinity Klein Lutheran School has been providing the community with quality Christian education. Students receive daily Christian instruction, which provides them with the tools that enable them to make appropriate choices. Our goal is to empower students in their faith development and to apply God’s Word to their daily living. A professional staff of trained Christian educators and parental involvement make it possible to realize our school’s mission. Core subjects, including Religion, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science are taught on a daily basis, with multiple opportunities for recess. Spanish, Art, Music, and PE are also part of the curriculum. Technology is integrated into instruction at all age levels and provides the students with hands-on experience and opportunities to advance their personal technological skills.
Our Elementary students in grades K-4 have dedicated instruction in ancillary classes of Physical Education, Spanish, Art, Music, and Computer Literacy.
5th Grade students take PE, Spanish, and Computer Literacy classes. Additionally, they select one FIne Arts class from Choir, Band, or Art to participate in.
At the elementary level, the arts play an important role in education. Studies show that involvement in the arts helps children succeed in areas such as math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. It can improve motivation, confidence and add fun to the classroom!
Because research continues to show that physical activity enables better ability to focus and attend to tasks in the classroom, students in the elementary years do have recess periods worked into their day.
At Trinity Klein we strive to build a strong faith life founded in Jesus Christ. Through study of Bible stories, memory verses, weekly chapels, service projects and a annual Christmas program which retells the events of Christ’s birth every child learns what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Pupils in grades five through eight have the opportunity to sing in the Seraphim Choir. This choir occasionally sings for worship services and school chapels at Trinity. A factor to take into account when considering this elective is that participation in all scheduled events, such as worship services, concerts, and community performances is required.
Students in grades 5-8 will have the opportunity to take an instrumental band. The curriculum will include music theory, rhythm, dictation, sight-reading, and memory skills. The students will take part yearly in two campus concerts, music festival contests, and solo competition. Individual weekly lessons, with an instrumental specialist, will be strongly encouraged. Students receive grades for band that are based upon rehearsal participation, home practice assignments, and attendance at sectionals/performances.

The coaching staff of Trinity Klein Lutheran School has and will continue to dedicate itself to the development of the total student athlete. The spiritual, physical, and emotional growth of each person is conscientiously considered when planning and implementing our athletic program. We believe that sports are a gift from God and participation in sports is always to be to His glory. Scripture will be the foundation for teaching commitment, trust, encouragement, love, humility, and forgiveness as important individual characteristics of who we are as redeemed children of our Heavenly Father. These characteristics are the pillars of our team concept and important in the way we display our faith through athletics.
